This week is quite the busy week for Percipia! We are attending two major conferences: HTNG’s 8th Annual North American Conference and Members’ Meetings in Chicago, IL and NIGA’s 27th Annual National Indian Gaming Association 2012 Tradeshow in San Diego, CA. Today was our first day at both conferences and we have been having great experiences so far!
At HTNG, we attended the keynote address: A New CIO’s View: Making Technology Work at Marriott. In this address Bruce Hoffmeister shared his views on his roles as an IT leader, his observations from his first year in the CIO seat at Marriott, and his opinions on selling IT projects to the business and to the CFO. We found this key note address extremely interesting and informative. He truly is an impressive individual! The rest of the day we have been manning our table meeting lots of key people in the industry. If you are attending the conference make sure to stop by to learn more about what Percipia has to offer! Tomorrow is a full day of sessions and we’re excited to attend the Hotel Technology Long Term Perspective session, The Impact of Mobile Devices on the Hotel Wireless Network session and the Annual Award Ceremony!
