April is Conference Season

March is nearing its end, which means April is just around the corner. April typically isn’t seen as an eventful month, but this year April marks the beginning of the Hospitality Industry conference season. There are three major conferences coming up in April: The NIGA conference, The HTNG Conference, and The 8^th Annual Hotel Technology Forum.

• The NIGA Conference: April 3^rd -4^th

This year, The National Indian Gaming Association (NIGA) conference will be held in the beautiful coastal city of San Diego, CA. The NIGA is committed to being the foremost educational, legislative and public policy resource for tribes. The annual trade show has become one of the biggest and best in the gaming industry. This conference is a great opportunity for attendees to learn about industry trends in the tribal gaming market and network with key members in the industry.

Percipia Networks will be attending this conference, however we won’t be exhibiting at the show. • The HTNG Conference: April 2^nd-5^th

This year, The Hotel Technology Next Generation Conference will be held in Chicago, IL. The Hotel Technology Next Generation is a global trade association dedicated to fostering the development of better technology for hospitality. A stellar cast of hospitality industry technologists, including many hotel company CIOs and CTOs, will gather at the Four Season Hotel. The conference is a four day long affair filled with diverse events designed to help attendees enhance their effectiveness, collaborate on new technology solutions, and interact with industry leaders. Some of this year’s key topics include social media/networking, sustainability, entertainment systems, cellular coverage, future trends, and mobile devices.

• The 8^th Annual Hotel Technology Forum: April 18^th- 20^th

This year, The Hotel Technology Forum will convene in Las Vegas at the Cosmopolitan Hotel. The conference is three days of focused educational sessions and a plethora of valuable networking opportunities designed to help lodging executives focus on issues that are most crucial to their businesses. Attendees will gain strategic insights and actionable information on topics that will help them tackle today’s challenges and put their companies on the right track for growth in the future. The forum’s theme is High Speed Innovation: Navigating the Lodging Technology Revolution.
